在組成加拿大最具代表性的融合爵士樂團UZEB，縱橫樂壇十餘年並獲獎無數後，世界級貝斯巨匠Alain Caron的個人音樂生涯一樣精彩無比。在貝斯演奏上無與倫比的技巧與音樂性，風靡了全球各地的樂迷，更讓他在2007年獲頒魁北克大學榮譽博士學位。

2008年的亞洲巡迴中，Caron邀集了融合爵士樂界的各方知名好手，包括過去UZEB時期的鼓手Paul Brochu（Michael Brecker，Gino Vannelli），委內瑞拉籍名鋼琴手Otmaro Ruiz（John McLaughlin，Dianne Reeves）；吉他部份更邀請了大師級人物Frank Gambale（Chick Corea Elektric Band，Vital Information）助陣，精彩可期。

After decade of Juno and Felix award winning career of UZEB, the most popular Canadian fusion jazz band, bass virtuoso Alain Caron started his solo career in 1993, toured and doing master classes all over the world. He received honorary doctorate from The University of Quebec in 2007 because of his dedication and achievement to music.

Caron invited several world class musicians to play together during his '08 Asian tour, which including drummer Paul Brochu (UZEB, Gino Vannelli), keyboardist Otmaro Ruiz (John McLaughlin, Dianne Reeves); also featuring the great guitarist Frank Gambale (Chick Corea Elektric Band, Vital Information).

The band will have a live concert in Nov. 19 at Riverside Ximen Live House in Taipei. The master class of Caron and Gambale is scheduled at the same day.
